To share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the lost, to provide spiritual, educational and health support to the poorest of the poor and the most vulnerable communities. To see each person and each community reach their full potential and know the joy of eternal life with Christ.
Our Founders - Ron and Cheryl Wallin
When Ron and Cheryl first met, they had no idea what an incredible faith journey God had planned for them. They were two souls that were complete in Christ, but God brought them and their children together to create something new. Ron is the International Director for Tujje Ministries and is retired from the computer technology support business. Cheryl is a Registered Nurse with a PhD in Nursing and a master’s degree in nursing administration. Cheryl conducted 2 health related research studies in Ugandan leper colonies. Both made mission trips in the past and traveled the world but no place touches their hearts as Uganda does.
We are committed to the Vision and Mission of Tujje Ministries. Our goal is to reach out to the poorest of the poor in East Africa. We provide an educational assistance program, Orphan support Program and the Community Health Care Program. Once the clinic is completed we will be able to provide much needed medical attention to neighboring communities as well.

How we started
In 2008 Ron and Cheryl were facilitating a Bible Study in their Palm Beach Gardens, Florida home. One evening, Rose from Uganda shared that her 4-year-old grandson had just returned from Uganda, thrown all of his shoes in the living room and announced that he wanted to send his shoes to his friends in Uganda because they had no shoes. The group was both convicted and inspired, convicted that there were children somewhere that needed help and inspired to step up to answer the call. The group asked Rose for a contact, she handed Ron her phone, it was 3am Ugandan time and her pastor in Uganda was on the line. Ron shared with the pastor the group’s idea of sending shoes to the children however the pastor did not seem to be very excited about the idea. Ron asked him “what is your need?”.
The pastor answered that the need was to purchase land to build a church, a school and an orphanage. The members of the group were determined to accomplish this task. Members worked 2nd and 3rd jobs to raise the funds and within 3 months the land was purchased. Soon after a church was built. Though the group’s idea was to send shoes, God had a much bigger plan! Ron and Cheryl made their first trip to Uganda in 2010 and experienced the delight of visiting a developing country struggling with poverty and disease but a country of resilient people who loved the Lord and were full of compassion and joy.

The Holy Bible
The Holy Bible is the perfect Word of God, holy and inspired by God. The Bible is God’s only written source and final authority in knowing God and His will. 2 Timothy 3:15-16
The Church
God has chosen to accomplish His purposes through His Church, the Body of Christ, best demonstrated by working together in local congregations in every community and working as One Body everywhere using every means available. , Romans 12:4-5, 1 Corinthians 12:12-25
The Trinity
There is only one God, eternally revealed in three persons – The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and then took all our sins upon Himself on the cross. His death on the cross paid the penalty for our sins. He rose from the grave, ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the God the Father. He is our mediator and advocate. He is returning to earth to judge all mankind, the living and the dead, and will establish His promised eternal Kingdom. John 1:14, Matthew 1:20-21, Hebrews 4:14-16
Holy Spirit
Every Christian is born again by the power of the Holy Spirit and possesses the indwelling Holy Spirit as God’s redeeming presence and regenerating power in their life. Every Christian should seek every day to be filled and led by the Holy Spirit. John 3:3-8; 14:26, Acts 2:38; 15:8, 1 Corinthians 6:19
Sin
Every person on earth is separated from God and will face the judgment of a holy and just God. All persons need to enter into a personal and intimate redemptive relationship with Jesus Christ, which is humanity’s only satisfactory atonement. Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Hebrews 9:27-28
Salvation
To go to heaven a person must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, they must biblically repent of their sins and ask Jesus Christ to come into their life as their Lord and Savior receiving God’s love and forgiveness, demonstrated and offered to every person, by God, only through His son Jesus Christ who shed His blood for our sin on the cross of Calvary. Romans 6:23, John 14:6, 1 Peter 1:18-21, Ephesians 1:7, Ephesians 2:8
Heaven
Heaven is a real place and is the eternal destiny for those people who have been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and Him alone, being made into a right-standing relationship with God through Jesus Christ. John 14:1-3, 2 Timothy 4:18, Ephesians 2:8-9
Hell
Hell is a real place created for Satan and his demons. All people who die without Christ will also be condemned to hell for eternity. Matthew 10:28, 2 Peter 2:4-7
Discipleship
All born-again Holy Spirit possessing Christians are called to be disciples of Jesus Christ. Every one of God’s children has been called to renew their minds to the mind of Jesus and conform their image to His image, God’s desire for each of His children. Matthew 28:19-20, Romans 8:28-29
Missions
Every Christian must dedicate themselves to serve Jesus Christ. We must submit to His sovereign authority over our lives and to His purpose in our lives. Matthew 6:24, Matthew 28:19-20, 16:24, James 4:7, Acts 1:8
Ministry
Every Christian should pursue a holy Christian life having compassion and concern for the wellbeing of every person, putting others before themselves. Matthew 22:37-39, Philippians 2:2-5, Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8
Human Life
All human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are called to defend, protect, and value all human life. Psalm 139:13-16
Marriage
God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These are two distinct, complementary genders that together reflect the image and nature of God. (Genesis 1:26-27.) Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God. We believe that marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. (Genesis 2:18-25.) We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. 1 Corinthians 6:18; 7:2-5; Hebrews 13:4
Statement of Final Authority on Matters of Faith and Conduct
The statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible, the inspired and infallible Word of God speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe. For purposes of Tujje Ministries’ faith, doctrine, practice, policy, and discipline, our Board of Directors is Tujje Ministries, Inc. final interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application.
We believe that to preserve the function and integrity of Tujje Ministries providing a Biblical role model to the Tujje team, students, patients and the communities served, it is imperative that all persons representing Tujje Ministries in any capacity, agree to and abide by this Statement of Faith.
